The high-potential White Gold exploration project is located approximately 95 km south of Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada.
Kinross acquired the White Gold project on June 30,
2010. White Gold is located in the Tintina gold belt,
approximately 95 km south of Dawson City, Yukon Territory,
Canada.
The discovery of the Golden Saddle deposit at the White Gold
property in 2008 is one of the most recent gold discoveries in the
Yukon. White Gold consists of multiple zones demonstrating
gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies.
In 2011, over 14,000 metres of drilling is planned at White Gold
focusing on key targets at Golden Saddle, Arc and McKinnon.
Continuation of district wide geochemical sampling and mapping is
planned to identify new targets and to better understand the
potential scale of the mineralized system.
